Delran NJ to Philadelphia

Are you wondering how long it takes to get from Delran NJ to Philadelphia? It’s a good question if you are moving into Delran and need to commute to Philadelphia for work. It depends on where in Philadelphia you will be working and when you have to work.

Traffic in rush hour can be pretty frustrating when traveling from Delran NJ to Philadelphia. The worst part would be in you need to drive on I-95 in Philly. That can get very backed up! In the past I have worked at Temple University off of Broad Street in North Philly. I drove down Route 130 to the Ben Franklin Bridge which didn’t have much traffic, even during rush hour. Then right off the bridge I made a right on 13th Street and following it all the way to Temple U. It took me 30 minutes to get from Delran to Temple University which was only a distance of 15 miles.

If you need to drive on I-95 you may run into delays. Let’s say you work at Philadelphia Airport (PHL). You will be driving mostly on I-95 and it could possibly take over an hour with delays. If you are going to be working in the city I’d take side streets as much as possible. Even the more prominent streets like Broad or Market Streets can get backed up pretty bad plus there are lots of traffic lights.
